Experience
Mr Paremain was appointed Consultant at the Royal Surrey 11 years ago. He trained at St Georges Hospital and spent a year as a Fellow at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He has a wide experience of Orthopaedic Surgery. Although he continues to perform General Orthopaedic procedures such as Hip and Knee replacement, he has developed a special interest in the management of Spinal pathology. He has performed over a thousand Microdiscectomies and Spinal Decompressions.
He is a member of the British association of Spinal Surgeons. He is a member of the regional surgical training committee, responsible for overseeing standards in Orthopaedic trainees.
He also plays a full part in the on call rota providing, with his colleagues, round the clock access to Orthopaedic care for those that have been severely injured in accidents.
