Experience
My first post as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon was in London in 1999 and then I moved to Newcastle in 2002 to take up a post with Newcastle NHS Foundation Trust.
I trained in Ireland, Stoke Mandeville, Oxford, London and Paris.
My special interests are in breast oncology and breast reconstruction as well as all aspects of cosmetic surgery. I did a special Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery at the Wellington Hospital in London and a Fellowship in Breast Surgery at the Marie Curie Institutue, Paris before taking up my first Consultant post.
Research
I have had 39 peer reviewed articles published to date abd one book chapter. My main research interests are in breast reconstruction and oncoplastic breast surgery.
