Dr Bone has been a full-time Consultant in Pain Medicine within the NHS for over 19 years and holds private practice at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital.
Dr Bone specialises in the management of chronic pain conditions including back and neck pain, post-injury and post-surgical pain, neuralgias including complex regional pain syndome and abdominal and chest pain. She provides a range of treatments including injection therapy under x-ray imaging in theatre.
Research
Dr Bone has been involved with several areas of research within pain medicine particularly the use of mediciation in neuropathic (nerve) pain and outcomes from pain interventional (injection) treatment.
Dr Bone is currently involved with 2 national working parties looking at pain and the elderly and intravenous sedation techniques.
