Mr Atwal was appointed as Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust in July 2007. He provides a clinical service for Herefordshire patients with a weekly clinic and operating session at Hereford county hospital.
As well as performing open aortic aneurysm repair, Mr Atwal provides the Endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) service for Herefordshire and Worcestershire patients. He also has an interest in carotid surgery and peripheral vascular disease.
He provides a comprehensive range of treatment options for varicose veins- conventional surgery, Endovenous Laser Treatment(EVLT) and Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy.
