It has long been the ambition of our local Consultants to be able to provide a “State of the Art” clinical environment where patients can be seen, diagnosed and treated quickly, giving them peace of mind and rapid results. Through a joint venture between IHS, a partnership of 32 Consultant shareholders, and Nuffield Health, patients are now able to benefit from this investment as local Consultants now practise in one of the most technologically sophisticated and patient-orientated private medical facilities in the UK. The Guildford Clinic is the first of its kind in Surrey and the UK, in terms of being a purpose built Outpatient and day surgery centre that can provide Outpatient consultation, diagnostics and day surgical treatment all under one roof.
Working closely with the Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital, we are able to provide for all patient situations and healthcare issues on a seamless care basis across our two sites, as well as being on the Royal Surrey County Hospital campus with all the extra medical expertise that can offer. At the Guildford Clinic we currently have over 200 consultants, covering a broad range of specialities, and patients are now experiencing the advantages of access to advanced imaging facilities within the Guildford Clinic to be able to get results and diagnoses quickly, usually without having to make unnecessary return visits.
